While she is still young in her teaching journey, Hannah can confidently say “I have never felt so instantly called to do something quite like teaching yoga. Hannah encourages her students to feel relaxed and present in their bodies, and recognize themselves as whole, divine beings just as they are. Off the mat she is a collector of tattoos, fruit and veggie gardener, houseplant and carnivorous plant enthusiast, and mother to one dog, two cats, and six fish. “I'm excited to meet new faces, see some familiar faces, and be a part of this journey with you all!”

Mary Wallen

Hi, I’m Mary! I’ve been a yoga instructor for almost 8 years, having received my 200 hour YTT in September 2016. I have taught beginner, slow-flow and restorative yoga though yin yoga is my passion! As an instructor I offer classes that are welcoming, challenging, and help to keep our bodies healthy by maintaining flexibility in our joints, ligaments, and fascia. The first yin class I took as a student fascinated me and I quickly realized how important stillness is to our minds and bodies. Through yin I have learned to be more calm, patient, and contemplative. As far as physicality yin has been a wonderful practice for helping me remain limber and flexible. My hope for my students is that yin yoga will give them a greater understanding of how quiet strength can help them become a greater and healthier version of themselves.
